Welcome to my newest attempt at a blog. I have had a few blogs in the past and the busyness of life always seems to push them to the back burner for one reason or another. But what the hell, let's give it another go.

I will post on lots of different kinds of things I find interesting. The topics will include current news, social commentary, reviews of books I am reading or of movies I have seen and maybe the occasional funny cat gif.

Don't look for this site to be polished because it won't be. I may end my sentences in the occasional preposition, so if that gets you worked just remember malaria has probably killed over half the people who have ever lived and you could use your time and energy in a better ways than getting pissed about grammar.

If you are a curious person who isn't thin skinned, kick your shoes off and let's have a conversation. I'm sure we can both learn something new.
